About Me and My Therapeutic Approach:

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. I completed my Bachelor of Science in psychology at the University of Toronto in 2007 and my Master of Arts in psychology at the University of British Columbia in 2009. I have worked as a counsellor since 2010.

I have experience addressing a wide range of issues that bring people to counselling, such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. I create a warm and genuine relationship with people that allows them to feel safe to explore the challenges they are facing. I aim to provide a comfortable and non-judgmental space where people can work with me to identify the issues that are causing them distress and explore solutions to these problems.

I implement therapeutic approaches that are evidence-based and have been proven to be effective. I have training in a variety of such approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I have an integrative approach in which I apply therapeutic modalities that will best fit your needs and goals.

I provide counselling in English and American Sign Language.
